English Language Preparation Programme
This programme is ideal for non-EU students whose English language levels are not yet high enough for entry to the Extended Undergraduate Foundation Programme.
The ELPP will develop your knowledge of the grammar, functions and vocabulary in general English language usage.
You will be trained in all four language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) to the level you need for your programme.
English Language requirements for ELPP
Depending on your current English level, you may need to study English for 1, 2 or 3 terms, as follows:

If you are planning to study an Extended Undergraduate Foundation programme after the ELPP, you will need to achieve IELTS 4.0 in order to progress.

"I am the Pathway Leader of English as a Foreign Language. I teach all of the English content on the Pre-Master course and a few sessions with the Undergraduate Foundation students. I am also responsible for writing the curriculum for all of the English courses, and running regular English assessments to help us provide the best possible support for every student on the campus."
